New Distribution Wizard Implemented in XWiki Enterprise 4.5

XWiki Enterprise, a professional wiki that has powerful extensibility features such as scripting in pages, plugins and a highly modular architecture, has reached version 4.5.

Highlights of XWiki Enterprise 4.5:

• The distribution wizard has received some improvements;
• The AppWithinMinutes wizard is now generating a document translation bundle for the application which allows you to translate class field pretty names, list values (for static list fields) and live table columns names;
• Experimental Solr search improvements have been implemented;
• Remote Solr instance support has been added. You can now configure the Solr search to use a remote • Solr instance instead of the embedded server that runs in the same JVM with Xwiki;
• The multilingual support has been improved;
• The previously not-working sorting UI element has been now implemented;
• The message sender is now using the new user/group picker.
