Info regarding a new class revealed or just a joke?

Every now and then, some info regarding one of the most anticipated games of all times that still has to be officially announced pops up and drives everybody crazy. The problem is that most of these rumors, even though considered "strong" by those who start spreading them, are actually quite hard to believe. One thing is certain, though: Diablo III is in the works for quite some time, even though Blizzard keeps its mouth shut at the moment.

Apart from that, French website FactorNews claims that it has exclusive information regarding what we should expect from the sequel of the history-making hack and slash game. A "well informed source" of theirs came up with some few facts: first - something that could've been predicted by anybody who knows a thing or two about the gaming industry - Diablo III will be a full 3D game. Now, some more interesting rumors:

What will make a lot of fans happy and will disappoint the rest is the fact that the new Blizzard game will not be a MMO, as many people strongly believe. Instead, it will use the BattleNet system, just like Starcraft II (also, BattleNet will get bigger and better, with a 2.0 version - according to the same source). It also appears that there will be more classes available, one of the new ones being an evil sorcerer that can control and detonate insects - something like the Diablo II necromancer.

The previous "strong" rumors regarding Diablo III were a complete mess (the website diabloIII.es is, apparently, not registered by Blizzard and the "official" forums I've talked about are not as official as I said). It remains to see if these new ones are solid or not, but that will only be possible when Diablo III will actually be announced by Blizzard. We expect that to happen sometime during this year. And, as I said in the beginning: be sure that Diablo III is in the works - and that is what is most important, no matter if the rumors popping out every now and then are true or false.
