Blizzard continues nerfing characters in Diablo III with its latest tweaks

Blizzard has implemented a new series of hotfixes into Diablo 3, affecting quite a few abilities for the Monk, Demon Hunter, and Wizard classes, “nerfing” (worsening) their actual powers.

Diablo 3 has been out for over a week and already many players have taken their characters to the maximum of level 60 and have begun beating the game’s tougher difficulty modes, including Inferno, with their favorite classes.

Now, after implementing a hotfix earlier this week that affected the Monk character, Blizzard has revealed a few more changes that are already available in Diablo 3, which also affect the Demon Hunter and Wizard classes.

First up, the Demon Hunter’s Smoke Screen has been severely worsened, as the character becomes invisible only for a second, and not for 2, as was the case in the original version of the game.

The Wizard’s Arcane Torrent and Energy Armor spells have also been affected, as certain runes for each power are now much worse.

The Monk received another decrease in power, this time for its Fists of Thunder ability.

Check out the new hotfixes for Diablo 3 below.
