Will they call it monstrous or a masterpiece, serial killer wonders in new teaser

With a little under 2 months to go until the premiere of the eighth and final season of “Dexter,” I’m still amazed that Showtime can still put out teaser after teaser and not really reveal footage from the upcoming episodes.

Check the most recent one above, in full and in HD.

The two videos embedded below, at the end of this post, are two “portraits” of Dexter and Deb, behind the mask. They were released a short while ago, and they’re definitely worth a minute of your time if you missed them then.

Another thing I like about the “Dexter” teasers, aside from the fact that they’re extremely efficient while revealing zero details from new episodes, is that they always feel incredibly intimate, in the sense that only fans can “get” them.

Take the latest video, for example: if you don’t know that the pictures Dex is hanging on the wall are of all the big baddies he killed over the years, the image of him in the middle of the room, surrounded by their pictures, might mean nothing for you.

“Dexter” is back on June 30. It’s the beginning of the end, as Showtime puts it.
