Capcom has unveiled yet another trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive dungeon crawler Deep Down, teasing fans with more mysterious action divided between the future and the past.

The game takes place in the year 2094 in New York, and the protagonist goes back in time to some pretty nasty dungeons, taking down hulking beasts while clad in medieval armor instead of packing some portable planet busters for the journey.

In any case, the game is set to be offered as a free-to-play game for Sony's PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, and will support split-screen multiplayer, accommodating up to 4 friends sitting on (or around) the same couch.

The game uses action combat and throws all kinds of horrific monsters at players, including chest mimics and gargantuan bosses, as well as countless traps that will mess with your attempts to clear the dungeons.

The visuals look interesting and the gameplay looks definitely exciting, especially when you get to leave the drab cave tunnels and engage dragons in more spacious locations.

The game seems to be fashioned in the weird and vague mood of the Dark Souls games, with the player collecting ancient artifacts and mementos from the distant past and being followed by a mysterious voice highlighting the way forward in their heroic journey.
