Pantech & Curitel have announced the launch of PT-S160 (for SK Telecom users) and PT-K1600.

PT-S160 supports PMP(Portable Multimedia Player) as well as satellite DMB receiver. When the
slide is closed, only DMB related keys are visible like PDP or LCD TVs featuring a minimal look, but when it's open, other keys appear so that users can make a call.

The unit comes with stereo 3D live sound speakers on the front side of the body, with TV pictures viewed on a 2.4 inch 260k QVGA LCD (320 x 240) screen. The screen can be switched between landscape and portrait formats. Also onboard it has an MP3 player, a 2 megapixel auto focus camera, T-flash memory slot and TV Out. The phone measures 52.4 x 107.5 x 22.5 mm and weighs 139g, which is rather small considering the technology that it includes. Pantech claims a talk time of 300 minutes and a standby mode of 300 hours.

There is no word yet of its availability in Europe.
