Activision will continue releasing new downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, despite the fact that it's soon going to reveal the next installment in the series, reportedly named Call of Duty: Ghosts or Modern Warfare 4.

Call of Duty fans are eagerly awaiting any details about this year's installment in the first-person shooter series and plenty of reports have already appeared online.

Even so, Activision social media manager Dan Amrich told fans in a video that the company, together with Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch, would continue releasing downloadable content for it.

Black Ops 2 received its first DLC earlier this year, in the form of the Revolution add-on, and the second DLC, the Uprising pack, appeared on the Xbox 360 platform earlier this month.

Considering the timing, the Uprising DLC should appear next month on PC and PS3, and another add-on could appear in summer.
