DC++ remains one of the top Direct Connect protocol clients on the market, so new versions keep coming every once in a while in order to keep its users constantly updated with new features and options.

DC++ 0.830 r3358 Test got to see daylight this morning, bringing fixes for a number of bugs affecting the transfer feature and duplicate directory downloads. In addition, it adds an option to set automatic search interval, while also reducing the max protocol command size from 16 MB to 16 KB.

Of course, updated documentation and language files are also included in the new version, so an overall improved experience should be provided to Windows users after the update.

DC++ 0.830 r3358 Test works flawlessly on all Windows versions out there and even though it’s only a pre-release build, it also runs fine on Windows 8.1 RTM too.
