SymbianGuru just released a new currency converter for Symbian S60 3rd Edition mobile phones. The new software, simply named "Currencies", will offer users real-time exchange rates (for more than 35 of the most important currencies), straight
from the European Central Bank. Moreover, users can set their own currencies rates, manually.
To get the exchange rates from the European Central Bank, in real-time, wherever you go, you only need a handset that runs on Symbian S60 3rd Edition and supports GPRS (which must be activated).
The new application has two currency types: predefined, comprising the most popular currencies from around the globe; and user's own currencies (their exchange rates can be easily set to any of the important currencies).
The list of predefined currencies available include: EUR, USD, GBP, JPY, KRW, CNY, HKD, SGD, CAD, AUD, NZD, NOK, SEK, ISK, DKK, CHF, CZK, SKK, RON, PLN, BGN, EEK, HUF, LTL, LVL, HRK, RUB, TRY, BRL, IDR, MXN, MYR, PHP, ZAR and THB.
Currencies app for S60 3rd Edition also has an auto-refresh option that will instantly update the currency rates when needed. Moreover, you can easily convert an unlimited number of currencies just by setting the amount to be converted and the initial and final currency.
All in all, the release of SymbianGuru's Currencies represents good news for users who permanently need to be in contact with the global or local financial market.
