All Eminem fans can now rejoice, as several media outlets are reporting that a new single from the rapper’s forthcoming album is available for free online. No, it has not been released just yet, both NME and Billboard assure us, but the version on the net is finished, so it’s just the thing to help us get the general idea of what to expect from “Relapse,” Eminem’s sixth studio album.

“Crack a Bottle” is, according to several sources, available on AceShowbiz, and will be the first single off the “comeback” album tentatively scheduled for release sometime in spring. Featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent as contributing vocals, “Crack a Bottle” has lyrics like “So crack a bottle, let your body waddle/ Don't act just like a sloppy model, you just hit the lotto,” and a much heavier beat and more mature sound.

At the same time, “Crack a Bottle” retains that certain something that, no later than a few years ago, took Eminem to the highest peaks of fame. Granted, some of the humor and “easy-goingness” that characterized the rapper seem to have disappeared, only traces of them still lingering about, to be replaced by a more serious tone, as if indicating of the time lapsed in between albums.

Earlier versions of this very track were leaked before, but this is the first time that we actually get to hear a complete track of the new and reinvented Eminem. Nevertheless, this is not an isolated case, as other tracks off the same album have also managed to find their way onto the Internet, much to the dismay of the rapper and his business management team.

Speaking with Billboard magazine just recently, Eminem expressed his disapproval and surprise at his tracks being constantly leaked on the Internet. “It’s like someone catches you before you got the Spider Man costume all zipped up!” he said at the time about how he felt about it.
