The IT industry can be an unforgiving place and people can lose their positions instantly, but sometimes they recover, as seems to have happened to two certain men who used to be part of AMD's staff.

The consumer base may mostly pay attention to the hardware and software developments on the IT market, but some company management changes also stand out from time to time.

For instance, it was not easy for one to gloss over the news of AMD losing its CEO, especially considering the fact that a permanent replacement hasn't been found even now.

Of course, while the news that Dirk Meyer was let go came as a sudden surprise, it was not the first time someone left the company, willingly or otherwise.

One Hector Ruiz used to act as chief executive officer of the company several years ago (he engineered the acquisition of ATI in 2006) before he moved on to work as chairman of Globalfoundries, though he resigned from that position soon enough, after reports of confidential AMD information leaks.

The K8 processor was developed during his time there (he left in 2008), enabling a growth in CPU market share at Intel's expense.

Another former AMD staff member was Bharath Rangarajan, who acted as vice president of corporate development.

Turns out that Ruiz and Bharath Rangarajan have now started their own company, called Bull Ventures LLC, a consulting firm that aims to form partnerships with companies in order to help them grow as a business.

Sure enough, the company already has its obligatory website, one that can be found here, although it does look like it has a way to go still.

What remains is to see how many IT players call upon the newly-offered services of the corporation and if AMD's other, more recently departed, officials end up doing anything similar to this in the future.
