14 DAY TRIAL // With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, our thoughts inevitably turn to family and the good old days we used to spend back when we were growing up. Disney knows that this is the right time to catch people's softer sides so it has released the latest trailer for the movie adaptation of one of the most beloved stories in the world, “Cinderella.”
The main character is Ella, played by Lily James, whose mother passes on while she's still a child. The daughter is supportive of her father's idea to remarry, but soon finds herself trapped in the home of her evil stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her two mean daughters (Holliday Grainger and Sophie McShera).
The rest of the story should be pretty much known to you so we won't go into further details. Instead, you'll be happy to know that Helena Bonham Carter makes a surprise appearance as the fairy godmother in this movie directed by Kenneth Branagh.
This is the second fairy tale project from Disney in later months, as earlier this year, it brought to cinemas a reinvented story from the classic kids' tale “Sleeping Beauty,” focusing on the evil character, “Maleficent,” played by Angelina Jolie.
