Apple is adding new channels every month. After some Kids Channels and one by AOL, the time has come for FOX NOW and CNBC to join the big Apple TV family. In order to unlock the full content, you need to be a cable subscriber.

When you first open FOX NOW, it takes a little bit to access the content and populate the screen. After that, you have three major modes on top of the screen – Fox Now, Shows, and Settings. Flipping from right to left are the channel's most popular shows, like "Glee," "24: Live another Day," "Cosmos: A Spacetime odyssey," "New Girl," "The Mindy Project," and "Gand Related," Obviously, these may change when new popular shows come up.

There are four main categories: Watch Now, Recommended New Episodes, Try It, and Recommended Clips. If you are not a cable subscriber, the Shows will only load for a split second and the you will get a generic message: "An error occurred loading this content. Try again later."

Other Shows will get you a more specific message: "Activate Fox Now - Sign in with your TV provider to access all available episodes from FOX primetime shows." In order to activate it you need to go on their website - foxnow.com/activate and enter a code provided by the Apple TV as part of the setup process.

There is a total of 30 different shows from Fox, including some of the best TV shows at the moment.

The process is somewhat similar for CNBC. However, you have more options at the top of the screen: CNBC, Watch Live, Business News, Prime, Search, and Settings. There are some shows and news that can be watched for free, but for some reason they will not play in Full HD.
