EXPN is the new channel that ESPN will provide for Verizon Wireless subscribers that use the V Cast Mobile TV service. This is meant to bring the entire package of X Games 13 on mobile phones, including live competitions, behind-the-scenes coverage and commentary.

People using this service will benefit from many services. They will have live coverage of events provided by ESPN for eight hours each day from Aug. 2-5. This includes everything from practices to qualifying events and event finals, as well as a daily "Best of the X Games" segment, which will show viewers all of the extreme highlights. There will also be an ESPN debut of a double box segment during the rally car races. Moreover, fans will have the chance to see races from each driver's viewpoint as they compete side-by-side.

The mobile TV service is bound to change the way that people enjoy sporting events. "With insider access to this flagship event, on-the-go sports fans can be a part of the action wherever they happen to be.
