Activision has already started talking about the new Call of Duty game that it will publish at the end of the year, promising to investors that it will bring “meaningful innovations to the franchise.”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has sold a huge amount of copies, breaking records set by the previous installment in the series, Black Ops.

Now, Activision has already begun talking about the next game in the series, which is set to appear at the end of the year, right before the holiday season.

Talking in an investor’s call, the company confirmed that an “all-new epic first person shooter” will be released under the Call of Duty brand. It also mentioned that “the game already looks fantastic and will bring meaningful innovations to the franchise."

No other details were revealed about the game, however, so expect plenty of rumors to appear until Activision decides to officially announce the new Call of Duty game.
