A brand new patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is currently being rolled out on the Xbox 360 and will soon hit the PlayStation 3 console in order to fix a few multiplayer glitches.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II came out last week and while it once again broke sales records, plenty of users encountered various issues with the game and its multiplayer mode.

After rolling out a special patch for PlayStation 3 users designed to fix some of the lag and freezes experienced by owners of the platform, Treyarch is now rolling out a special update on the Xbox 360. The patch is designed to solve a few pesky issues, like the “UI Error 226117” one from the Theater Mode, and the couple of glitches related to the Escort Drone or the Dragonfire.

According to the Treyarch Twitter account, the patch is currently being deployed on the Xbox 360 and is set to appear for the PlayStation 3 in the near future.

Look forward to seeing more and more patches soon, as Treyarch is committed to fixing all of the issues reported by users.
