It seems to be "Trailer Monday" today, since we've just watched the newest BioShock 60 seconds stunner and now we're getting ready for a fast-paced multiplayer trailer from the latest Call of Duty game.

The 2 minute trailer is called "Ghillie in the Mist", focusing on the Ghillie suit and shows what many of you FPS fans will be doing in your winter holiday. Let me remind you that the era of COD 2 and 3 has set and you're dealing with modern war now and all the tricks of Modern Warfare. Unofficial reports state that the launch date for Call of Duty 4 is November 9 on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, but Activision didn't confirm it yet.

So, we're left with these new screenshots and trailer, which increase the hype of what promises to be the best multiplayer FPS of the year. Infinity Ward have done an excellent job, so you can forget the failure called Call of Duty 3, specially the Wii version. I bet that there are still many gamers out there that play the second installment in the COD series and will never move on, even if we reach the tenth Call of Duty title and the gameplay evolves to fantastic levels. Will we see EA pulling the same desperate move and departing from the standard WWII recipe, in order to gain new fans?

Also, I'm curious to see who will take over the rule of the WWII-based FPS games, now that Call of Duty moved on... Could it be the latest Brothers in Arms title? The clock's ticking and it seems that we'll be playing COD 4 before Christmas and by that time, many gamers will have finished BioShock and any other top class FPS that comes out.

Let's feast on the screenshots below and the new trailer here.
