Chinese handset maker Huawei has been very busy lately. The company announced quite a slew of new devices at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, earlier this month.

Aside from the “fastest quad-core smartphone on the market,” the Ascend D quad, Huawei silently launched a 10.1-inch tablet dubbed “MediaPad 10 FHD.”

This tablet would be equipped with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor built by Huawei, 32GB of internal memory, as well as 2GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Obviously, the slate is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and should come with LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.

However, until Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD will make its entrance on the market, the Chinese company is readying another smaller tablet for worldwide release.

The folks over at Ameblo.jp have just spotted a certain Huawei S7-301c device at Bluetooth SIG, which is simply dubbed Huawei MediaPad.

Details regarding the slate’s specs sheet are scarce, but there’s a high chance that this is a 7-inch tablet targeting the mid-range market. So far, we don’t have any info on the tablet’s release date.

According to the documents filled at Bluetooth SIG, the device features CDMA2000 1X/EVDO support, along with 3G voice and data services.

Disappointingly, the mysterious will be powered by Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system, but we can safely assume that Huawei will deploy an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade soon after its launch.

Huawei also claims that “with a full touchscreen and an ultra-thin design, the technically advanced MediaPad has an original, elegant, and stylish appearance.”

No other details on the slate’s specs sheet are revealed at Bluetooth SIG, but more info might become available in the following weeks.

This CDMA-enabled Huawei MediaPad tablet will be released worldwide, including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.
