As far as mainstream-grade multimedia playback is concerned, today is all about wireless and ultra-portability, and these are exactly the main features around which Aluratek built their brand-new line of portable speakers, called “Bump”.

The collection introduces four new products - the AMS01F portable boombox, the AUWS01F USB transmitter with remote wireless speaker, the AWS01F boombox kit with separate remote wireless speaker, and the APS01F 3.5mm lithium ion portable speaker, all of which deliver some pretty interesting features.

The first model in the series, the Bump AMS01F portable boombox is a simple plug-n-play design that plays music by inserting an SD/SDHC card, while also featuring a built-in FM tuner and alarm clock function, all for a MSRP of around $49.99.

Next in line comes the $79.99 Bump AUWS01F, featuring a 2.4GHz wireless transmitter that ensures a high-quality connection up to 60 feet, allowing users to simply insert the USB dongle to get started – no configuring or software needed

The Bump AWS01F (MSRP $99.99) provides both a stand-alone boombox and remote wireless speaker as a kit, letting users plug-n-play from an SD/SDHC card, listen to the FM tuner or connect to an MP3 player and use the wireless speaker to listen anywhere.

Finally the Bump APS01F (MSRP $19.99) is a powerful external portable speaker that will plug into the 3.5mm headset/ear bud port of all smart phones/cell phones or any other device with a 3.5mm connection for instant and robust sound quality.

Each portable system is powered by a Lithium-Ion Polymer battery for a truly wireless experience that lasts up to six hours on a single charge, while each Bump is Mac and PC compatible and can connect with MP3 players and other audio devices using a 3.5mm auxiliary audio output.

“We’re pleased to offer our consumers new speaker options that fulfill a variety of entertainment needs,” says John Wolikow, VP of Sales and Marketing for Aluratek, adding that “the high-performance sound quality and new wireless and MP3 capability diversifies our product line, while increasing our impact in the digital audio market.”
