A new browser exploit kit called “Private Exploit Pack” has been advertised since May on hacker forums.

According to Kafeine of Malware Don’t Need Coffee, Private Exploit Pack has been tested on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista and even Windows 8.

As far as the browsers are concerned, Opera and Internet Explorer are said to be the most vulnerable. Infection rates on Chrome are said to be low since “Google requires users to allow plugins to run.”

Newer versions of Firefox are also said to be resistant to the exploit kit.

Currently, PEK contains three Java exploits, one Internet Explorer exploit, one PDF exploit and one Microsoft Data Access Components exploit.

The author accepts payment via Perfect Money, LTC, BTC and WMZ, but he warns potential customers not to pay with stolen money.

The exploit pack costs $50 (€39) per day with unlimited traffic. Those who want to rent Private Exploit Pack for a month have to pay $1,100 (€853), but they benefit from discounts.
