New Britney Song Leaked

Britney's back singing, people! And while some of us thought it was a laugh to actually believe that horrible rap piece was Brit for real (believe it for like 10 seconds that is), there actually is a new Britney song out there. But unfortunately, that's pretty much all we can say about it - it's out there and it's...well, you can listen to it yourselves HERE. It put me to sleep in about 30 seconds. But come on, let's not all be mean and give Britney some credit. At least she's singing. At least we hope it's her own voice. But it's nice to write about her doing something else that chase paparazzi with baby bottles and kiss college students in drunken, middle-of-the-night pool romps.

Apparently, Britney wrote the lyrics too - well, we could actually pretty much guess that by the whole "Oh, sweet love, can I get some/ So why do you desert me, baby boy" thing. Yeah, it pretty much figures that she wants some...love and affection, and I do wonder whether it's K-Fed she's talking to or whether she's just after some good old sympathy. And I also wonder whether this means Britney's at least interested to get back to business, although honestly, she's going to need a lot more than this to go back to the top ten. I think that duo with Timberlake would have been a lot nicer than this, but she backed out of that one, remember?

There is (more) good news though. Britney was spotted leaving the Opera nightclub with a bunch of dancer friends and her choreographer in tow yesterday, and this makes everybody believe (I mean, hope) that maybe we will see her on stage at the VMAs on September 9th and put on a show - though it would really have to be a blast to impress most of us. But is it just me or Britney seems to be going back to blonde and looks a bit more like her old self again?

We'd be glad to believe that, really really glad - maybe if she's in a better mood she'll drop releasing boring, depressing songs and maybe get down to some real action. In the end, it's my opinion that the world would just forgive and forget if she showed some real effort and stop bringing all of us down with blue songs. Want proof? Even rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson refused to have a go at Britney when asked what is her major problem. All he said was that her troubles were caused by the Britster letting the media in her life too much. Ha! I totally resent that! But finally, at least we have proof that people do cut Britney a lot of slack - if only she knew how to make the most of it. Maybe. Hope so.
