Genius is not about to let the start of September go by without making some move on the consumer market, so it went ahead and presented the HS-905 BT Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth connectivity is, nowadays, something that is never absent form a PC, be it a desktop or notebook.

Likewise, many consumer electronics, especially smartphones, tablets, handsets, etc, come with this functionality built in.

A third category of electronics that may rely on Bluetooth for their wireless needs are peripherals and on-the-go consumer accessories.

Wireless headsets are one of the more obvious example, though this is not, exactly, what Genius announced.

Instead, the HS-905 BT, as the recent invention is called, is more sophisticated than that, even though it does have headphones.

Said ear pieces are wired (they feature 10mm drivers, 20Hz-20KHz and 16 ohms impedance), however, as the Bluetooth connection is reserved for something much more far-reaching.

Basically, the HS-905 BT can link to any Bluetooth-enable source of media in a home, or any other area, so that users can listen to anything stored on them, as well as whatever radios and web stations are up and ready.

Of course, the product is not restricted to just the default headphones, since that would make things troublesome if they got damaged or some such.

Genius made sure that any audio output solution with a 3.5mm plug is fully supported by its creation, whether it is of its own making or not.

Volume control is among the list of the features, as is the ability to answer phone calls (via the integrated mic).

As for practicality, Genius included rechargeable batteries which can be filled with power in about two hours via the microUSB cable.

Music streaming can be, thus, maintained for up to six hours, while the standby time before battery depletes is 165 hours.
