Japanese game maker Arc System Works is currently teasing a new game, mysteriously dubbed BRCS and seemingly pointing to the Blood Rayne franchise.

It set up a teaser website, showing some elements of the Blood Rayne iconography, such as the medallion and sword, belonging to the red-headed vampire and human hybrid from the series. Being a half-breed is certainly convenient, as it is public knowledge that all dhampirs have similar powers to those of pure-breed vampires, only without the pesky garlic allergy.

Arc System Works has been mainly involved with fighting games, being responsible for the weird but interesting Guilty Gear series, as well as BlazBlue and Persona Arena. It also did a side-scrolling action game back in 2011, titled Hard Crops: Uprising, and that is a clear possibility for the potentially upcoming Blood Rayne game.

The last incarnation of Blood Rayne was in BloodRayne: Betrayal, WayForward's 2D hack-and-slash game, a difficult platformer inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Aside from some cheesy quotes, the website tells that there are 6 days left, which is probably an indication of the official unveiling of the upcoming project.

"She who fights with monsters might take care lest she thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." Yes, yes, that's great, everyone is here for the great quote and not the scantily clad woman.
