Research In Motion's latest mobile phone, the BlackBerry Torch 9800, the company's first device to pack both a touchscreen display and a QWERTY keyboard, can be admired in a new commercial that just emerged into the wild.

The new video ad emerged on the Internet on RIM's own YouTube channel, which can only suggest that we're to see more commercials being brought to the display.

As the guys over at CrackBerry note in a recent post, the new video ad is focused on showing how the tabs feature in the new WebKit browser works, as well as in proving that the device has great multimedia features.

For what it's worth, the company does need to speed up sales for the new smartphone, especially since it showed a poor performance on shelves over at AT&T.

However, with more carriers set to add it on their offerings in the near future, there are great chances that the new slider would pick up pace on the market, and that the table would turn in its favor.

We already learned that it should become available for purchase in Europe via Vodafone, which put it on its coming soon page, and latest rumors suggest that O2 might also have it available on its network in early October.

Moreover, various Canadian mobile phone carriers announced plans to launch the new device on their airwaves on September 24, and it seems that more plan making a similar move.

SaskTel is the last one to confirm that the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 should land on its airwaves before the end of September, a recent article on MobileSyrup notes.

Unfortunately, the wireless carrier did not announce any other specific details regarding the move, but one should expect for it to have the new phone priced at $199.99 on a 3-year contract agreement, just as other operators would.

Until more info on this emerges, enthusiasts should have a look at the new Torch commercial, embedded below.
