14 DAY TRIAL // The most popular instant messaging application for BlackBerry devices has just received a new update that brings new features and improvements.
BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) 6.2.0.44 is now available for download via Research In Motion’s (RIM) App World store.
The latest version of the instant messaging application adds a new range of animated avatars, as well as improved contact search (search now ignores special characters and emoticons).
Users can now send voice notes easier back and forth. It appears that streamlined voice notes allows users to set their convenience key to BBM, highlight a contact, press the key, record and send.
There’s also an easier way to change Name and Personal Message from the Profile menu. Last but not least, BlackBerry Tag has been enhanced to allow for automatic invitations and accepting within BBM.
BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) 6.2.0.44 is now available as a free download via App World and it should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry 4.5 OS and higher.
