After the recent release of its BalckBerry Curve in a sunset color version, T-Mobile USA is getting ready to bring even more new BlackBerry smartphones to its customers. Although it seems that the Stateside T-Mo will not be getting the BlackBery Bold 9000 anytime soon (like its German and Austrian cousins), the fourth largest carrier in the US still has some pretty cool devices to release.

According to BlackBerry News, the North American T-Mobile will launch three new color versions for the BlackBerry Pearl 8120, plus the Pearl 8220 clamshell and the Bold-like Javelin - five new handsets in total.

For the moment, the Pearl 8120 is offered by T-Mobile only in a silver/gray version, while the Pearl 8100 comes in Black, Gold and Ruby. The new color additions for the 8120 will be Indigo, Light Blue and Tahitian Green, which should be available starting this fall, allowing about anyone to find a Pearl that suits his tastes.

What's more interesting than the new colors of the old Pearls is the brand new BlackBerry Pearl 8220 clamshell (previously known as BlackBerry KickStart). Said to be first released in Canada, via Rogers, the 8220 should come in the next few months, for an affordable price (somewhere around 50 bucks with a T-Mo contract agreement), bringing all the features that users are familiar with from the previous Pearl models. These include a SureType QWERTY keyboard, trackball navigation, email and Web capabilities, a 2 Megapixel camera and even an external 160 x 128 pixels display.

The other completely new smartphone to hit T-Mobile's shelves is the BlackBerry Javelin. Coming as a mix between the Bold and the Curve, Javelin looks very stylish and it should attract both business users and the ones interested in fashionable handsets. The features of Javelin are said to include a 480 x 360 pixels display, Wi-Fi, a 3.2 Megapixel camera and GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (no 3G, unfortunately).

BlackBerry Javelin should be commercially available in December at the latest, for a price that is yet to be announced.

YES!!! c'mon T-Mobile....... I want that Javelin now.......Ican't wait any longer. I bet you will be much much better than the G1. I had G1 for 2 weeks and returned it because the E-Mail part was a nightmare, so i went back to my Curve 8320........Javelin, will you be here for Christmas??
