Do you see the "hot" chick in the picture wearing the green dress? Guess what! She is of the characters present in the upcoming PC and Xbox 360 title from Irrational Games, Bioshock.

It gives me great joy to announce that the official website has been launched, even though the game is a few months away. Being curios, I entered the flash version of the website and by the looks
of it, the 1940's and 50's feel of the game has been kept. Most of the data posted there I've already seen, but there are a few new screens and a picture tour. You can see for yourself HERE.

Bioshock's developer describes the game as a "spiritual successor" to System Shock, another PC title from Irrational Games. I must inform all those who own an older version of Windows that Bioshock will require an XP or Vista upgrade (most likely Vista). 2K Games has announced that it will also have XP support but I can see them changing their minds and making it a Vista exclusive.

No matter what happens, the game is set to be released in the second half of 2007. The story of the game begins with the main character of the game finding himself underwater because of a plane crash. Debris is all around and a lighthouse is shinning somewhere far away. Eventually, you come across a bathysphere with a corpse inside, and use it to descend into an underwater city.

I'm not going to tell you the entire plot of the game, but I'm going to disclose this: the city is called Rapture, and was designed to be some sort of Atlantis, self-sufficient.
