It looks like Beyonce’s parting ways from her manager (and dad) Matthew Knowles happened just now for a very good reason. The singer is working on her upcoming album, which should arrive in music stores no later than June this year, it has emerged.

Beyonce has been in the studio for this material ever since 2009 and things seem to be getting along so well that she and her people are confident fans will get to listen to it this summer.

Sony Australia boss Denis Handlin spoke to the media just recently and revealed that he had personally had the pleasure of listening to 6 of the tracks that will appear on Beyonce’s upcoming album, Undercover News reports.

Moreover, Handlin has pinpointed the release date for June this year, promising fans an album like no other from Beyonce.

“Sony Australia boss Denis Handlin had an audience with Sasha Fierce herself in New York, and heard six tracks from Beyonce’s forthcoming album,” Undercover News writes.

Asked to describe the tracks in question, Handlin almost goes overboard on praises – and some important details as well.

“She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record, which will include Australia. These songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she's gone to another level,” Handlin is quoted as saying.

In the same interview, the Sony boss confirmed the release date for late June 2011, which should come as excellent news for Beyonce fans looking forward to her fourth studio album.

“The album has been in the works since 2009, and producers and songwriters on it are said to include Ne-Yo, The Dream, Symbolyc One, Diplo, Switch, and Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins,” Undercover News writes.

In recent interviews, Beyonce said that she was looking to coming out with an album that would showcase her “own little gumbo of music,” a mixture of R&B and rock and other influences.
