New Beta for AIDA64 Extreme Edition

FinalWire released a fresh beta for AIDA64 2.70, which includes not only support for new hardware but also a couple of fixes.

Build 2.70.2232 of the application comes with support for Simple Firmware Interface, offers chipset information for Intel Cloverview IMC and GPU details for Intel Cloverview and Penwell SoCs for mobile devices (tablets).

The application brings to the table preliminary sensor support for ITE IT8623E sensor chip and can provide motherboard specific sensor info for Asus F2A85-M LE, Gigabyte Z77-HD3 and Z77-HD4 and for Supermicro C7B75 and C7H61.

Among the improvements available in this release, there is better ATA auto-detect in VMware environment.

Repairs refer to hardware monitoring and target drive usage measurement. On the same note, SMART module is now disabled under Microsoft’s VirtualPC, Parallels and VirtualBox.
