New Best of Bing Themes for Windows 7: China 2 and Australia 3

Microsoft has added two new Best of Bing themes to the list of personalization packs available for its Windows 7 operating system, namely China 2 and Australia 3.

With images that lay before your eyes vast surroundings or close-ups with flowers and animals, these new packs are meant to offer you a taste of two beautiful countries.

To those who have never had the chance to visit China, the new Best of Bing theme dedicated to this country will certainly seem appealing.

It will offer you a glimpse at some of the most impressive constructions in the country, such as the Great Wall, while also presenting the beauty of the countries landscapes.

“The images of Chinese marvels big and small in this free Windows 7 theme include mist-covered mountaintops, the snow-covered countryside, the sun rising over rice paddies, and delicately rendered wall ornamentation,” Microsoft explains.

Best of Bing: Australia 3 will deliver similarly impressive imagery, only that the landscape will be totally different.

However, you will still be able to enjoy great views of lakes, ocean shores, and waterfalls, as well as close-ups with animals and vegetation specific to this country.

“This free theme for Windows 7 features more stunning and unexpected images of Australia from Bing, including lightning cracking in a cloud-filled sky over Kakadu National Park, the first rays of sun pouring through a cloud formation over eastern Sydney, and dawn reflections on a calm fresh water lake in Tasmania,” Microsoft notes.

Both themes are available for download for free for Windows 7 users (on Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions). The same as other such software from Microsoft, they will also work nicely with the newer Windows 8 Consumer Preview operating system.
