Battlefield 4 developer DICE has just confirmed that it's rolled out a brand new server update that should stop some of the most common crashes encountered so far.

Battlefield 4 has been eagerly awaited by millions of fans from around the world and, while the initial release for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 last week went off without any major issues, quite a few technical problems have started plaguing the first-person shooter.

After confirming a list of known issues and bugs yesterday, developer DICE has just confirmed on Battlelog that it's rolled out a new update designed for Battlefield 4 servers across all platforms, which should fix common crashes.

DICE warns that it might take up to 24 hours for all servers to apply the patch, so some crashes might still be encountered until then.

Lots of other updates for the game itself are scheduled to appear soon enough on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The game will also be launched on PS4 and Xbox One this month.
