The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are launching a new community mission for Battlefield 4, asking gamers to show off their capabilities as team players by collectively making more than 40 million ammo resupply runs in the video game.

The official announcement adds, "This challenge starts July 29th 9AM PDT, and ends at 4th Aug 2AM PDT. If you manage to reach the goal, we’ll award everyone with a Gold Battlepack. Don’t ask what your team can do for you, ask what you can do for your team."

DICE also says that the previous challenge was completed by the player community, which managed to take down the required number of Main Battle Tanks and will be rewarded with an official Gold Battlepack as soon as possible.

Those who are taking part in the Battlefield 4 community missions can track the overall progress by using the official Battlelog service.

The missions are part of a one-month long Battlefest that the studio has launched in order to reward gamers who have played the first-person shooter since it was launched late last year.

Electronic Arts has recently announced that the new title in the series, Battlefield Hardline, is delayed to 2015 in order to increase the quality of the overall experience.
