Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman together at last

A new poster for the upcoming “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” directed by Zack Snyder, has emerged online. A version of it, this time of inferior quality, first started making the rounds earlier this year, after the Hong Kong International Licensing Show.

We now have a better quality of this poster, and you can see it in the image attached to this post: it’s basically a collage of all 3 character posters we’d seen already, giving the impression that we have Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman together at last.

On the other hand, considering the film won’t be out until March 2016, anything is better than nothing.

“Dawn of Justice” is the follow-up to the rebooted Superman, “Man of Steel,” but is not a sequel of the same. Instead, this 2016 film is seen as the first installment in the “Justice League” upcoming franchise, putting together Batman and Superman for the first time ever in a movie, but also introducing Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

Gal Gadot will star as Wonder Woman, in what will be this character’s first big screen outing. Jason Momoa from “Game of Thrones” has been cast as Aquaman, while the role of villain Lex Luthor will be played by Jessie Eisenberg. The Batman role went to Ben Affleck.

Though “Man of Steel” did manage to get fans excited for this new superhero franchise taking shape over at Warner Bros., the casting on “Dawn of Justice” turned them into skeptics. They’re probably reserving judgment until the first footage from the film is released to the wider public.
