The Batfleck is not in a good mood, here on business

Two more photos of Ben Affleck as Batman from the upcoming “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” have leaked online, confirming rumors that Zack Snyder will carry the Christopher Nolan tradition of making DC Comics superhero movies as bleak, dark and serious as possible.

You will find them in the gallery below; the second photo there is a guerrilla-style poster that came out a short while ago: it seems that the first pic in the gallery was the source for it, and that Warner Bros. just inserted Superman’s logo over Batman’s face.

The color image of the Batfleck (as the Internet mockingly dubbed Affleck after news broke that he’d been cast as the famous Caped Crusader) appears to be a leaked, larger version of the same. It’s giving me strong Photoshop vibes, so I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that it might be a fake.

Assuming it’s the real deal, it offers a pretty good look at the Batsuit. Unlike in Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy, it’s no longer all-black. The cowl appears to be rigid, but it could be just an illusion, considering that costume designer Michael Wilkinson recently revealed that a lot of attention went into making the suit as flexible as possible: they simply couldn’t do with another Batman that wasn’t able to turn his head.

“Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be out in March 2016 and will mark the first time these 2 superheroes share the same screen. Henry Cavill reprises his role from “Man of Steel” (also directed by Snyder), while newcomer Gal Gadot will portray the first feature film version of Wonder Woman.
