Husqvarna has come up, over the past few years, with quite an impressive lineup of lawnmower robots, and now, the company has decided to add yet another model to its lineup, namely the Automower 305.

Unlike some of its larger siblings, designed to cater to the needs of larger real-estate owners, the 305 model targets a fairly different category of users, namely those who own a rather limited patio/garden/backyard, with a total area of up to 500 square meters.

Plus, given the fact that the lawnmower from Husqvarna can attain a nominal ground speed of around 35 cm/s, it's quite likely that it will manage to get the job done in a fairly small amount of time.

In order to make sure that it doesn't become the prime target of some envious neighbor, the robot also packs a couple of useful safety features, including here a Safety PIN (that virtually renders the robot useless if stolen), as well as a built-in alarm.

Not that picking it up and carrying it away will be an easy task, either, given the fact that the Automower 305 weighs around 7 kilos.

The device is powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion/1,6Ah battery, that provides a functioning autonomy of around 40 minutes after an 150 minutes charge (not particularly bad, actually, especially since the whole recharging process is fully automatic, requiring zero assistance from the owner.

According to the manufacturer, the device will also be accompanied by 150 meters of wire and 200 staples, that will allow users to set-up the mowing perimeter in fairly fast and easy manner.

Last, but certainly not least, it's important to point out that the Automower 305 is a fairly expensive robot, the device selling for around 1,490 Euro, which is not exactly a sum most home owners will be able to afford (on the other hand, it sure beats purchasing a normal, hand-driven lawnmower).
