Apple may not have said anything, but that didn't stop some people in Taiwan from saying that a new iPhone has entered production.

According to Digitimes, Pegatron has started manufacture of the new Apple iPhone version, at its factory in Shanghai, Eastern China.

It's never said exactly what iPhone we are supposed to expect, but it's not like there is much room for confusion.

After all, previous data is enough to make an assumption: the iPhone 5 with nano-SIM card, 1 GB of RAM, NFC and 4G/LTE broadband.

Shipments will begin in fall, meaning October/November (or early in the fourth quarter of 2012).

In related news, Pegatron has supposedly started making a new version of the iPad as well, which should debut earlier (Q3). We'll be sure to provide new information as soon as we uncover it.
