New mom Anna Faris is already getting back to work and, by some strange coincidence, getting to play one in a new pilot for CBS, TV Line confirms.

The new show has Chuck Lorre as producer and co-writer, and would see Faris play a newly sober mother.

“Anna Faris has landed the title role in CBS’ Chuck Lorre-produced multi-camera comedy pilot Mom, TVLine has learned,” TV Line reports.

“The actress — whose film credits include The Dictator, The House Bunny and the Scary Movie franchise — will play a newly sober single mom who tries to pull her life together in the Napa Valley,” the same media outlet further informs.

For the time being, only the pilot will be shot. However, if the series gets picked up for a full season, that would mean Lorre will have no less than 4 shows on air this season: “Mom,” “Two and a Half Men,” “The Big Bang Theory” and “Mike & Molly.”
