Rovio, the game developer behind the highly popular Angry Birds mobile game, is gearing up for the release of an update for one of the flavors of its title.
The company will soon make some more content for its Angry Birds Season title available for download for the owners of devices running under Google’s Android operating system.
Apparently, the new episode, which is spring themed, is inspired by the Japanese tradition of hanami. The new update will bring along 15 new levels, together with two other bonus levels.
The new Cherry Blossom update for Angry Birds Season is expected to become available for download from the Android Market later this week.
The software update is expected to make its way to other mobile platforms out there as well, including iOS, and Symbian.
