Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Build for Xperia T and Xperia V Gets Certified

The update is likely to arrive by the end of the month

Last week, we reported that the long-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia T and Xperia V had been certified at PTCRB and we expected it to go live within the following couple of days.

However, it appears that Sony continues to iron out minor issues found in the previous version of the update, as XperiaBlog reports that a new firmware version for the Xperia smartphones mentioned earlier has just popped up at PTCRB.

The new Android 4.3 build 9.2.A.0.278 is meant to replace the previous 9.2.A.0.276 version that was certified last week.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling if this is the final version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Xperia T and Xperia V devices. We will keep an eye out for any additional info, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
