New Alpha Build for µTorrent

The new release, Alpha 3.1 build 25788, comes with a batch of fixes, and, for the users of the plus version, with improved compatibility for the supported devices as far as transcoding is concerned.

This version of the BitTorrent client fixes the portable mode of the app and now the DNA cache directory is no longer created in %appdata% location. Additional corrections refer to “Manage search providers” option that linked to the wrong configuration panel.

A more serious problem, with SSDP (Simple Service Discovery Protocol) response when enabling a different listen port for WebUI, seems to have been mended.

Users inform that some of the old problems are still present in this release, such as incorrect status display when file is set to “paused” and the disk is full or µTorrent is restarted.

There isn’t much novelty in this version, as the only new feature on the change list is the introduction of progress bars when copying files to supported devices.
