Remedy Entertainment has just posted a fresh developer diary video for its upcoming Alan Wake's American Nightmare downloadable game.
After impressing quite a few people with Alan Wake on the Xbox 360 back in 2010, Remedy is back, this time with a downloadable spinoff called Alan Wake's American Nightmare.
As we have seen up until now, the game has a more action-oriented vibe, instead of the slower, more dramatic pace we have seen in the original.
According to a new video about the game, this change is due to the Remedy team wanting to try out something different, with a distinct pulp action feel. The developers also highlight that the new title is basically a playable episode of Alan Wake's fictional Night Springs TV series.
Check out the trailer above and pay attention to the background of the video towards the end for a special surprise.
Alan Wake's American Nightmare is out for the Xbox 360, via the Xbox Live Arcade, on February 22, as part of the Xbox Live House Party promotion.
