Called RT-N14UHP, it has three detachable high-gain antennas

The new Wi-Fi router that ASUS created may have support for a single band, the 2.4 GHz one, but that doesn't mean it's common or low-end. Indeed, it is quite the opposite.

The wireless transfer speed may be of “only” 300 Mbps, but the range and signal strength are superior to those of pretty much every other single-band N300 router out there.

The reason is the presence of the three high-gain 9dBi antennas, which triples the wireless coverage compared to 2 dBi antennas.

Thus, you can give Wi-Fi access to two whole floors or a full house with a single RT-N14UHP router.

A USB 2.0 port is included too, for sharing of storage devices or plugging a 3G/4G (HSPA+) dongle, if you don't have a LAN cable close by.

ASUS AiCloud is supported as well (embedded application that turns the RT-N14UHP into a personal cloud server), and you can even sync files stored on the network, attached USB storage devices, or on ASUS WebStorage via ASUS Smart Sync.
