Remember that just a few days ago we brought you news about two new ASUS tablets, the K010 and K013, which were spotted in the Wi-Fi Alliance database.

We couldn't tell you much about the specifications these tablets were going to arrive with, except they were going to run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

Anyway, now more information has become available, so we can reveal that ASUS is prepping not two, but three new slates, all from the MeMO Pad family.

The three unannounced models are the K010, K011 and K013, and, according to the guys over Eeevolution, these slates are pertaining to the two-old MeMO Pad bandwagon.

ASUS uses this brand for its middle- to low-end set of Android tablets, including the pretty popular MeMO Pad HD 7. Anyhow, the Italian publication has managed to stumble upon some documents that reveal some of the specifications the tablets will arrive with. Let’s take them in turn.

ASUS K010 – it will arrive with 10-inch IPS LCD display and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, power will be drawn from unknown processor fitted with 1GB of RAM, dual cameras, running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

ASUS K011 – it will arrive with 8-inch IPS LCD display and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, power will be drawn from unknown processor fitted with 1GB of RAM, dual cameras, running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

ASUS K013 – it will arrive with 7-inch IPS LCD display and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, power will be drawn from unknown processor fitted with 1GB of RAM, dual cameras, running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

The processor is not specified, but most likely we’re going to see the tablet line-up arrive with Intel's new Bay Trail low-cost cheap chips under the hood.

Sadly, these specifications aren't all that impressive, but at least the slates will arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

ASUS is yet to roll out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for its tablets. The company is barely pushing out the Android 4.3 OTA for some of its devices. Back in February, we brought you news the Android 4.3 build had finally started rolling out for ASUS MeMO Pad FHD 10 users.

So having Android 4.4. KitKat out of the box can be considered quite an advantage.

Anyway, the set of specifications makes us think of Samsung’s recent mid-range Galaxy Tab4 line-up which also includes a 7-incher, 8-ncher and 10-incher. Priced correctly by ASUSA, the new MeMO Pads might provide fierce competition to Samsung’s new tablets.
