ASRock, a company that is well known all around the world for its motherboard solutions, has come at the CeBIT show in Hanover, Germany, with a series of new products, among which we were able to spot a brand new 12-inch notebook, which seems to be dubbed MultiBook G12.

The most interesting feature of the new ASRock machine is the fact that it is powered by a dual-core Atom N330 processor, which most of you might already know that is actually targeted at the nettop segment. The MultiBook G12 sports one of the company's motherboards and comes with an integrated graphics solution.

The mobile machine also features a touchpad with multi-touch capabilities, and comes with support for up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, as well as with a 12.1-inch WXGA display that can deliver a 1280x800 resolution. The storage option for the MultiBook G12 includes support for up to 500GB 2.5'' SATA HDD. Other specifications of the new ASRock notebook, whose weight only rises up to 1.7kg, also include 10/100/1000 bps LAN, as well as 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity.

Another rather interesting feature of the new mobile PC is the fact that it includes the ASRock instant boot technology, which allows users to enter the operating system in about 4 to 8 seconds from the moment they started the boot sequence. As for the use, the keyboard of the MultiBook G12 feels rather nice at touch, and the machine seems to run pretty smoothly. The notebook also features USB ports on its side, as well as headphones, microphone jacks, and a DVD writer.

According to the company, the new ASRock MultiBook G12 system is expected to reach the market in the following two months. In addition, it seems that the price of the notebook will not be higher than $400.
