Since just about every major player in the home entertainment industry is preparing some hot new product for this year's International CES, AC Ryan has also revealed that they'll be showcasing their latest media player at the Las Vegas show, namely the FLUXX Full HD Media Player powered by the Intel Atom CE4150 processor. According to the company, the AC Ryan FLUXX is the first and most connected Full HD Media Player to ship with the Intel Atom CE4150 processor (running at 1.2 Ghz) and comes with a very comprehensive set of features that allow consumers to engage with social media, online streaming, movies and music on a whole new level.

Beside the aforementioned CPU, other important hardware components worth mentioning include the 400MHz Extreme graphics, 1GB DDR3 Memory, and 2 GB extreme on-board NAND-flash memory.

Furthermore, the player will also feature Gigabit Wired Network, optional wireless-N via USB and built-in HDD up to 2TB.

Other functions provided by the new media player include connecting people with widgets for endless use of social media applications, connected media library which scans and automatically updates movie information from internet sources, Web browser with Flash support and online streaming content, and support for DRM content.

AC Ryan Commercial Director, Tobias Brinkmann says that “with the AC Ryan FLUXX, we continue to strengthen our role in the media player segment as a leader for innovative products that redefine how digital media users enjoy their content”, adding that “the AC Ryan FLUXX enables people to use one device to play their content from a variety of sources – local music, photos and videos from personal libraries, the entire web, video on demand, flash games and many apps as well.”

“We are proud to be working closely with Intel to deliver the first Intel Atom CE4150 processor (CE4100 series) based media player and the only to support internal hard drives up to 2TB. The FLUXX brings all your personal media and Web content to your TV in Full HD,” concluded the company's director.

Unfortunately, pricing and availability details for the new FLUXX HD media player have not yet been provided, but we certainly hope that we'll find more details on these topics during CES.
