I really think that just about everyone who has a penchant for high-end, expensive audio and video gear is quite familiar with the Bang & Olufsen name, the company delivering some of the most exquisitely-designed devices out there, including here the latest addition to the BeoVision 10 LED HDTV lineup, a 32-inch model. The BeoVision 10 - 32 is a full HD LCD screen TV with an edge-type LED backlight, double sided anti-reflective coated contrast screen, five different placement options and an active two-way loudspeaker system, resulting in optimal picture and sound performance. The new LED HDTV from the BeoVision series is based on the same chassis as the 40" and the 46" versions and also adopts the same design principles, only on a smaller scale, including here a removable front fabric in a range of colors, (black, white, silver, dark grey, blue and orange) and the unique, high-gloss polished aluminium frame that makes the TV appear even thinner than it is. The frame is split into front and rear sections, and the rear profile is curved so it reflects the color of the wall, therefore, creating a floating, glass appearance that blends in with any rooms decor. The device sports a 16:9 TFT LCD edge-type LED backlight display with 16.7 million colors and 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution, while the 100/120 Hz and adaptive film judder compensation technologies enable an enhanced image quality. The 32-inch version offers Master Link connectivity and a built-in Peripheral Unit Controller (PUC) for control of cable or satellite STBs and Blue-ray players with a single remote and it also allows for connection of an additional pair of loudspeakers and subwoofer to expand the sonic experience. To accommodate its flexibility and modular applications, BeoVision 10-32 will offer a wide range of placement options, including motorized stands for floor and table placement, two different Brackets for placement close to the wall, and one wall bracket that allows for manual turn and tilt functionality. As expected, the BeoVision 10-32 includes an active, two-way loudspeaker system with high quality drivers that deliver an unrivalled sound quality compared to other TVs of this size. Quite obviously, the 32-inch BeoVision is a lot more expensive than other comparable models of the same size available on the market, the LED HDTV having an estimated retail price of around 4,000 Euro (or 5,540 US dollars).
