The handset was presented at 3GSM

Z710 is a new camera phone presented by Samsung at the 3GSM convention in Barcelona. The handset is addressed to the photography fans, as it sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, capable of video recording, with auto focus.

The mobile is pretty small, measuring 20 mm in thickness and weighing 107 grams. It features dual TFT display, with the main display capable of displaying resolutions of 240 x 320 pixels in 262k colors and the secondary one with a resolution of 96 x 96 pixels in 65k colors. The storage space is 128 MB and can be expanded through the use of microSD cards.

For the audio part Z710 offers a music player supporting MP3/AAC/AAC+/e-AAC+ playback and a built in FM receiver. Connectivity is achieved through Bluetooth and USB. E-mail capabilities include support for POP3/SMTP/IMAP4. The battery duration is 180 hours on standby and 3 hours on continuous talk. The handset operates in GSM 900/1800/1900MHz, UMTS 2100MHz.
