It also benefits from wide viewing angles thanks to the Super-PLS technology

Super-PLS (plane-to-plane switching) is a sort of step up from IPS (in-plane switching) in terms of display quality because the wide viewing angles of 178°/178° don't come at the expense of response time, or anything else.

That's why AOC felt comfortable installing a WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) panel of this sort on the q2770Pqu 27-inch monitor.

The display has a response time of 5 ms, maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2 and dynamic mega contrast, which is another way to say that the DCR is of several millions:1, while the normal, static contrast is the same old 1000:1.

AOC's monitor works on 29W of power, which is pretty low, although the Eco-mode energy saving mode is responsible for this.

The product has a price of $500 / €500 and connects to PCs via dual-link DVI, D-Sub, or HDMI.
