Many touch-enabled monitors go all the way and implement 10-finger tracking and gesture support, but Iiyama decided not to go so far for the latest ProLite Series addition.

Called ProLite Series T2452MTS-3, it uses optical touch technology to track two fingers at once.

So you can still pinch to zoom and the like, but you won't be able to manipulate lots of things at once, or work in collaboration with others.

Not that people are so keen on holding their arms outstretched all day. And there's not much room for collaboration on a 23.6-inch screen anyway.

Sure, it's not a small screen by any means, but it's not a big, 40- or 50(+)-inch professional design panel either.

Speaking of display specs, the newcomer has LED backlighting, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD as it were), two 2W stereo speakers, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and four video inputs.

Said video inputs are two HDMI connectors, one D-Sub port and one DVI connector.

Finally, the response time is of 2 ms, which is surprisingly low, knowing that the normal one is, and that even some high-end screens use, 5 ms.

The price of the Iiyama ProLite T2452MTS-3 is 36,800 yen / $359 / €262.
