Don’t get too excited as these parts can be from Chinese knockoffs

A new photo claiming to show parts from Apple’s 2013 “budget” iPhone is making the rounds today, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up knowing that the Chinese are already hard at work creating Android versions of the phone.

A guy named Gene residing in Taiwan is flashing an interesting photo on Twitter, claiming to show “cheap iPhone volume controls.”

9to5mac shares the photo, as well as the consensus that these parts may well be the volume buttons for a really cheap Android knockoff. Smartphones that look like the rumored “budget” iPhone are already being manufactured, but instead of iOS, they’re running Google’s Android software.

Going by looks of these plasticky parts, they’re most likely from a replica iPhone (i.e. not the real deal). However, the color set does seem to be in line with the latest “budget” iPhone leaks. What do you guys make of it?
